VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 57-year-old woman died in a motorcycle crash involving a truck hauling a trailer on Thursday afternoon in Volusia County.
The accident occurred at approximately 4 p.m. on High Bridge Road near Walter Boardman Lane. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the woman was a passenger on a 2025 Harley Davidson Heritage, which was driven by a 64-year-old man, both from Wisconsin.
Troopers reported that the motorcycle was traveling west when it failed to negotiate a curve, colliding with the left side of a Toyota Tacoma heading east. Both riders were ejected from the motorcycle.
