WYOMING, Mich. — A 33-year-old Wyoming man died in a motorcycle crash on Charlesgate Avenue Saturday afternoon.
The collision occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m. involving a pickup truck and the motorcycle. Officers from the Wyoming Police Department (WPD) reported that the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to authorities, a preliminary investigation suggests that speed was a factor; however, alcohol is not suspected to have played a role.
The driver of the pickup truck remained on site and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
