Motorcycle Accident on Ohio 49 Under Investigation by Authorities
A motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of Ohio 49 and Piqua Rd. on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency responders, including the Willsire Fire Department, Wren EMS, Van Wert EMS, and Lutheran Air-1, were dispatched to the scene. According to authorities, the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Van Wert Post is investigating the incident.
Traffic control was managed by the Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department. The motorcycle involved sustained minor damage and was removed by friends of the rider. No injuries or fatalities have been reported.
