Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AM News) – A motorcycle crash involving a car at the Hwy. 52 and Hwy. 57 interchange on Wednesday left a Goodhue resident severely injured.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. as a vehicle making a left turn onto the Hwy. 52 north onramp collided with a motorcycle traveling south on Hwy. 57, according to the State Patrol.
The motorcyclist, identified as 35-year-old Phillip Carl Breidall, was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
39-year-old Jessica Ann Wetzstein of Wanamingo was driving the car and reported no injuries. Authorities stated that alcohol is not suspected as a factor in the incident.
Emergency teams from Wanamingo Fire, the Kenyon Police Department, Zumbrota Police Department, Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, and Zumbrota Medics responded to the scene.
