COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – A motorcycle crash resulted in one fatality in Richland County on August 14 around 9:30 p.m.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred on Clemson Road, near Rhame Road. A 2014 GMC Sierra traveling east attempted to turn left onto Rhame Road when a 2003 Harley-Davidson motorcycle collided with the right side of the truck.
The motorcycle rider was transported to a hospital, where they later died. The individual has not yet been identified. Authorities confirmed the driver of the GMC was uninjured.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing as of Tuesday. No additional details have been released.
