KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Coal Mine Road Tuesday evening.
Kansas City Police responded to the incident just before 4:45 p.m. near Winchester Avenue.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound when he failed to navigate a curve in the road.
After leaving the roadway, he struck multiple trees in a wooded area, resulting in him being thrown from the motorcycle.
The rider was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim has not yet been identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
