Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash on Route 37 west at Coolidge Avenue in Toms River.
The incident occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on October 26, when a motorcycle collided with a pedestrian, according to authorities.
Emergency responders from the TOMS RIVER POLICE DEPARTMENT and local medical aid units arrived on the scene, but both individuals were pronounced dead at the site of the crash.
Traffic was affected in the area, with lane closures implemented during the investigation. Towing services were also dispatched to clear the wreckage.
According to New Jersey State Police statistics, this incident marks the 44th fatal accident in Ocean County for 2025, resulting in 52 total victims, including 13 pedestrians.
