GREENVILLE, Ohio (WKEF) — A collision involving a car and a motorcycle occurred Friday night in Darke County.
The crash happened around 8 p.m. in the 1600 block of State Route 49. According to the Darke County Sheriff’s Office, 62-year-old Dana Woodson was driving northbound when she entered the roadway and collided with a motorcycle driven by 23-year-old Ian Petroski.
Woodson received treatment at the scene and was released. Petroski was transported to Miami Valley Hospital via CareFlight and is currently in serious condition.
Emergency responders included Darke County Sheriff’s Deputies, Pittsburg Fire, Greenville Township Rescue, and Arcanum Rescue. The road was temporarily closed as crews worked at the site.
The Darke County Sheriff Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the incident.
