Orange Park, Fla. – One man is dead and another seriously injured after a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on Moody Avenue near Whipple Avenue around 9 p.m. on [Date].
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the pickup truck was turning left onto Whipple Avenue when the motorcyclist attempted to pass on the left in a no-passing zone, resulting in the crash.
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, died at the scene. His passenger was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries, also without a helmet. The driver of the pickup truck was uninjured.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
