Two Killed in Motorcycle-SUV Collision on North Keystone Avenue in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS (Local News Wire) — A man and a woman died in a motorcycle collision with a small SUV on North Keystone Avenue on Sunday night around 9:20 p.m.
According to the Marion County Coroner’s Office, the victims were identified as Samuel Boomershine, 23, and Hayley Curran, 26. The incident occurred in the 7500 block of North Keystone Avenue, just south of the White River bridge.
Authorities said the SUV was traveling south and had a green light when it turned east onto 75th Street. The northbound motorcycle collided with the SUV near its rear passenger door. Witnesses reported the motorcycle was moving at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
The motorcycle’s driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. The SUV contained a man and a woman; the man suffered minor injuries, while the woman was unhurt. Both remained at the scene and were reported to be sober.
IMPD reported that there were no witnesses to the crash. Investigators are asking anyone with information or video footage to contact Officer Kevin Winks at 317-327-6549.
