A 69-year-old motorcycle rider died in a single-vehicle crash on Warrensburg Road in Greene County on Saturday evening.
Lawrence Sutter, of Tennessee, was operating a 2003 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail when he ran off the right side of the road around 7 p.m. and came to a stop in a ditch, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP).
Sutter was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. There were no other vehicles or individuals involved in the crash, authorities reported.
Emergency response teams were on scene, but the THP has not released information regarding the specific location of the accident or the circumstances leading to it. An investigation is ongoing.
