WEST FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) — A motorcycle passenger suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on Wednesday afternoon at 17th Street E. and Main Avenue E.

The incident occurred around 2:50 p.m. on September 2, when a motorcycle rear-ended a vehicle, according to the West Fargo Police Department. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle was speeding and driving recklessly prior to the collision.
The motorcycle had two occupants at the time of the crash, authorities said. The driver sustained significant but non-life-threatening injuries, while the passenger incurred life-threatening injuries. Neither occupant was wearing a helmet, police noted.
Emergency response included the West Fargo Police Department, West Fargo Fire Department, North Dakota Highway Patrol, and Sanford Ambulance. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the incident.
