Motorcycle Rider Dies in Aurora After Losing Control and Hitting Curb.

AURORA, Colo. — A motorcyclist was killed late Tuesday night after crashing into a curb on Gun Club Road, according to the Aurora Police Department.

The incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. as the motorcyclist was traveling south on Gun Club Road. Authorities reported that the rider lost control, slid across the roadway, and struck a curb at East Louisiana Parkway.

Emergency responders pronounced the rider dead at the scene. Police confirmed he was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The identity of the motorcyclist will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office pending notification of family.

The crash remains under investigation by the Aurora Police Department’s Traffic Investigations Unit. No additional details on lane closures or other traffic impacts have been provided.
