Motorcycle Rider Seriously Injured in Cass County I-94 Crash.

CASS COUNTY, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A 62-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a four-vehicle crash on Interstate 94 Wednesday afternoon.

The collision occurred at approximately 4:46 p.m. in the eastbound lanes, about three miles east of Mapleton, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

Authorities reported that a motorcycle was traveling in the right lane, followed by a Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado moved to the passing lane but was struck by a Nissan Rogue, leading to a chain reaction that involved the motorcycle and another Chevrolet Silverado.

The motorcycle rider, who was wearing a helmet, sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital. His identity has not been released.

The drivers of the Nissan Rogue and the two Silverados, along with a passenger, were unharmed, all wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, the patrol confirmed.

The incident is currently under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
