A motorcyclist was airlifted with serious injuries following a crash in Camden County on Friday at noon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the incident occurred on Willow Creek Road, north of Burns Road. A 2008 Harley Davidson FLHTC skidded while entering a curve and subsequently overturned, ejecting the 64-year-old male driver onto the roadway.
The motorcyclist, a resident of Pleasant Hill, Mo., was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was airlifted by MU Air to University Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
MSHP did not report any other vehicles involved in the incident. An investigation is ongoing, and further details will be provided as they become available. Lane closures were implemented during emergency response efforts.
