MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. — A 47-year-old Evart man is hospitalized with serious injuries following a motorcycle-truck collision in Big Rapids Friday morning.
Authorities responded around 8:03 a.m. to the 1000 block of South State Street for a report of a crash with injuries.
The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike after colliding with a truck and was subsequently airlifted by Aero Med to Corewell Health Grand Rapids Blodgett Hospital for treatment. His current medical condition is not known.
The incident is under investigation, with no information released on the cause of the crash.
The Big Rapids Fire Department, Ferris State University Department of Public Safety, Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office, and local EMS agencies assisted at the scene.
