KENSAL, N.D. (KFYR) – A 31-year-old man from Carrington was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Highway 9 Thursday at 7:19 p.m.
The accident occurred near mile marker 13, involving three motorcycles traveling eastbound. A 1994 Harley-Davidson left the roadway, entered the south ditch, and struck an approach, throwing the driver from the bike.
According to the North Dakota State Patrol, the man was not wearing a helmet and lacked a motorcycle endorsement. He was first taken to a hospital in Carrington before being transferred to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident. No lanes were reported closed due to the accident.
