A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash in Camden County on Friday, prompting an airlift to a nearby hospital.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) reported the accident occurred at 12:00 p.m. on Willow Creek Road, north of Burns Road. A 2008 Harley Davidson FLHTC commenced skidding while navigating a curve, resulting in the motorcycle overturning and ejecting the 64-year-old male driver onto the roadway.
According to authorities, the motorcyclist, a resident of Pleasant Hill, MO, sustained serious injuries. He was airlifted by MU Air to University Hospital for treatment. MSHP confirmed that the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details have been released regarding lane closures or towing.
