Motorcyclist Airlifted to Hospital Following Crash, Reports WDIO.com.

A motorcycle crash in Stony River Township, Lake County, on September 13, left a 48-year-old man with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the rider was traveling east on Highway 1 when his motorcycle left the roadway and entered the right ditch, rolling on top of him. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

Emergency responders, including the Minnesota State Patrol, Lake County Sheriff’s Office, Babbit Police Department, Morse Lake Fire, Ely Ambulance, and Lifelink Flight, arrived at the scene. The rider was airlifted to a Duluth hospital for treatment.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and authorities reported no fatalities. An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
