KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Local News Wire) – A motorcycle crash on 71 Highway resulted in serious injuries for two individuals Friday morning.
The Kansas City Missouri Police Department responded to the incident at approximately 8 a.m. near the intersection of northbound 71 Highway and 19th Street.
According to authorities, a silver Honda Goldwing motorcycle rear-ended a black Ford Fusion that was stopped in traffic.
Both the motorcycle operator and passenger were transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the Ford Fusion was uninjured.
Emergency services remained on scene for lane closures and traffic management. An investigation is currently ongoing.
