KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A motorcyclist and passenger suffered serious injuries in a crash on 71 Highway Friday morning.
According to the Kansas City Missouri Police Department, officers responded to the incident just before 8 a.m. at northbound 71 Highway and 19th Street.
Preliminary investigations indicate a silver Honda Goldwing motorcycle rear-ended a black Ford Fusion that was stopped in traffic.
Both the operator and passenger of the motorcycle were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, while the driver of the Ford reported no injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
