Motorcyclist Injured After Attempted Flee on I-80 in East Chicago
EAST CHICAGO, IN – A motorcyclist crashed on Interstate 80 following a brief pursuit by law enforcement on November 3 at approximately 2:41 p.m.
According to the Indiana State Police, the motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, attempted to flee a trooper during a traffic stop. The incident ended with the motorcyclist losing control and crashing near the 10-mile marker.
Emergency services, including the East Chicago Fire Department, responded to the scene to assist the individual. The rider was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
