RICHFORD, Vt. — A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a collision with a tractor-trailer on Troy Street on Monday evening.
The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. near Liberty Street, according to authorities.
Emergency responders found the motorcyclist, identified as Adam Blodgett, 20, of Fairfax, pinned beneath the truck.
Rescue crews extricated Blodgett, who was subsequently airlifted to the UVM Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
Initial investigations revealed that Blodgett crossed the center line before colliding with the tractor-trailer. The truck driver was unharmed.
