A 42-year-old man from Quincy, Illinois, sustained serious injuries in a motorcycle crash Saturday in Marion County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at 5:45 p.m. on Highway 24, approximately 2 miles south of Palmyra.
The westbound 2024 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle failed to navigate a curve, veering off the left side of the roadway and ejecting the driver.
The injured rider, who was wearing a helmet, was transported by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital for treatment.
The motorcycle was severely damaged and towed from the scene by Heartland Towing.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol received assistance from the Marion County Sheriff’s Department during the investigation.
