Multi-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 101 Leaves Two Injured
A multi-vehicle collision occurred on U.S. Highway 101 northbound near Exit 23 in Springfield on Oct. 10, 2023, at approximately 2:41 p.m.
Authorities reported that three vehicles were involved in the accident, which resulted in two individuals suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Emergency response units from the Springfield Fire Department and local law enforcement were dispatched to the scene. Medical aid was provided, and both injured parties were transported to Springfield General Hospital for treatment.
The incident caused significant lane closures on the northbound side of U.S. Highway 101 as crews worked to clear the wreckage. Tow trucks were called to remove the vehicles involved.
