KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A motorcycle crash on State Route 129 resulted in a fatality Thursday afternoon, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Authorities said the incident occurred when Jeremy Grambell, 52, struck a deer while riding, causing him to veer off the roadway. Grambell was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene, and an investigation is ongoing. Further details regarding lane closures or tows were not immediately available.
