DUNNELLON, Fla. (WCJB) – A motorcycle crash at the intersection of U.S. 41 and Southwest 25th Place at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday resulted in one fatality and serious injuries.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 68-year-old man was operating a motorcycle when he failed to stop at the intersection, colliding with an SUV driven by a 51-year-old woman.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. Emergency responders from local agencies assisted at the site.
Authorities have not indicated any ongoing investigation or lane closures related to the incident.
