Brierfield Man Dies in Chilton County Motorcycle Crash
A 48-year-old man from Brierfield died following a motorcycle accident in Chilton County on February 20, 2024.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Derrick A. Lilly was riding a 2022 Can-Am Spyder when he lost control and ran off Chilton County 327 near Alabama 22. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m., approximately one mile east of Maplesville.
Lilly was ejected from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. ALEA Troopers are currently investigating the crash. No additional details regarding lane closures or other vehicles involved have been reported.
