Motorcyclist Dies in Collision on Busy Delaware Road Saturday.

Wilmington Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 38-Year-Old Man

WILMINGTON, DE — A motorcycle accident on Limestone Road claimed the life of a 38-year-old man on May 16, 2026, at approximately 1:00 p.m.

According to the Delaware State Police, the crash occurred at the intersection of Limestone Road and Ocheltree Lane. A Harley-Davidson Street Bob was traveling northbound when a Honda Accord, turning left from a southbound left-turn lane, crossed into its path.

Authorities reported that the motorcycle operator attempted to evade the collision by laying down the motorcycle. The vehicle slid and struck the Honda, causing the rider to be ejected.

The Wilmington man was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not been disclosed, pending notification of family.

The 77-year-old female driver of the Honda, from Edgewood, Maryland, was unharmed.

The Delaware State Police continue to investigate the incident.
