Motorcyclist Killed in Montgomery County Crash Sunday Afternoon
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — A motorcyclist was pronounced dead following a collision with a car at 1:11 p.m. on Sunday.
Montgomery County Police are investigating the accident that occurred at the intersection of Mouth of Monocacy Road and Dickerson Road. The motorcyclist, identified as 32-year-old Michael Richard Bower of Hagerstown, was found in the roadway.
Bower was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Subaru Ascent involved in the crash remained on-site. Investigators reported that Bower was traveling westbound on Dickerson Road when he collided with the Subaru.
No additional injuries were reported.
Authorities stated the investigation is ongoing and may take several weeks to months to complete.
