COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KOAA) — A fatal motorcycle accident occurred Sunday night at the intersection of North Union Boulevard and Dublin Boulevard, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
The crash took place around 10 p.m. when a motorcyclist traveling northbound on North Union Boulevard collided with a westbound pickup truck on Dublin Boulevard, authorities said.
The injured motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries. The El Paso County Coroner’s Office will release the deceased’s name at a later date.
CSPD noted that speed is being considered a factor in the incident. An investigation is ongoing.
