LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A motorcyclist died Thursday afternoon in a crash on northbound I-11 near Horizon Drive, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
Authorities responded to the incident at 12:48 p.m. on August 27, 2026. The crash involved a single motorcycle, and the rider, an adult male, died at the scene.
Road closures
Following the crash, northbound I-11 at Horizon Drive was closed. All northbound travel lanes were shut down, and traffic was diverted to the Horizon Drive off-ramp. As of now, all lanes have since reopened.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
