Denver police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash on Interstate 70 near Berkeley Lake that occurred early Thursday morning.
The Denver Police Department reported the incident at 1:24 a.m. on I-70 at Tennyson Street. One individual, identified as 18-year-old Austin Feldmann, died from injuries sustained in the crash.
According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, eastbound I-70 was closed at Sheridan Boulevard while westbound I-70 was closed at Federal Boulevard due to the crash. Both directions of the highway were reopened by 3:45 a.m.
Additional details regarding the crash, including the number of vehicles involved and the cause, remain under investigation.
