DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — A single-vehicle motorcycle crash on I-95 left one person dead Tuesday afternoon, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. near mile marker 77, between Saint George and Reevesville. A 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling south veered off the roadway, resulting in the motorcyclist’s death at the scene.
Emergency responders were at the scene, and the Dorchester County Coroner’s Office is working to identify the victim. No additional injuries were reported.
Authorities indicated that lane closures were in effect while the investigation is ongoing.
