ORANGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on M-66 Tuesday morning, according to Michigan State Police.
The motorcycle struck a vehicle that had just exited a service station near M-66 and Grand River Avenue shortly after 6:30 a.m. The motorcyclist, a 61-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 16-year-old driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
M-66 was closed for several hours as authorities conducted an investigation. Towing services were on-site to remove the vehicles involved.
The investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing, officials said.
