ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. — A motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Marshell Road at Jug Factory Road on July 11 at 7:45 AM.
According to Alabama State Troopers, 69-year-old Gordon Stephenson of Wetumpka was riding his motorcycle when an SUV, driven by 33-year-old Jernikka Quinn of Montgomery, collided with him. Stephenson was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that the crash occurred approximately eight miles east of Wetumpka. Emergency services responded quickly to the scene, but no additional injuries were reported.
The road was temporarily closed while the accident was investigated. Further details regarding potential charges against Quinn have not been released.
