A motorcyclist died early Saturday in a crash on West Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, authorities said.
Fort Lauderdale Police responded at approximately 2:45 a.m. to the 3000 block of West Broward Boulevard after reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle. Upon arrival, officers pronounced the motorcycle rider dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the incident. The Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No additional details regarding the number of vehicles involved or potential injuries have been confirmed at this time.
