HEREFORD, Ariz. (Local News Wire) — A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle crash on State Route 92 on Saturday, February 21.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision occurred near milepost 326, south of Sierra Vista, around 7:30 a.m.
The motorcyclist reportedly collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer making a left turn. The rider, whose identity has not been disclosed, was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver sustained no injuries.
Authorities said the crash prompted temporary lane closures while emergency responders, including the local fire department and medical services, provided assistance.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
