CAJON PASS, Calif. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a semi-truck on northbound I-15 near Summit Avenue on December 20, 2025, at 4:24 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The incident involved a white semi-truck and at least one motorcycle. Witnesses reported that two motorcycles were traveling at high speeds when one rider, on a black Honda motorcycle, was struck in the #3 lane.
As a result of the collision, three middle lanes were closed due to debris and emergency response efforts. The motorcyclist was found down in the middle lanes, prompting a traffic break and transport to a hospital by emergency personnel. The rider was later pronounced deceased.
A red Ford F-150 towing a trailer was also involved in the incident. All vehicles remained on scene, and a rotation tow was requested for vehicle recovery. CHP officers collected evidence from the scene as part of their investigation.
Identification details of the deceased rider have not been released. CHP is continuing to investigate the crash.
