Motorcyclist killed in Mount Washington crash
PITTSBURGH —
A motorcyclist lost his life in a crash on P.J. McArdle Roadway in Mount Washington Thursday night, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.
The victim has been identified as Moises Santiago-Rodriguez, 52, by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m., when Santiago-Rodriguez reportedly lost control of his motorcycle while traveling downhill. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no additional injuries were reported.
Pittsburgh’s Collision Investigation Unit is currently processing the scene. Roadway conditions and contributing factors to the crash are under investigation.
