A fatal motorcycle crash involving a box truck occurred on Hawleyville Road in Newtown on Monday, just before 6 p.m.
According to police, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash resulted in the temporary closure of Hawleyville Road for several hours while investigations were conducted.
