BARSTOW, CA. (Local News Wire) – A motorcyclist died following a three-vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 15 in Barstow on July 1, 2026.
At approximately 6:30 p.m., California Highway Patrol (CHP), Barstow Fire, and EMS responded to the scene near the Barstow Road/Highway 247 onramp. The crash involved a motorcycle, a sedan, and a minivan.
According to CHP traffic logs, the motorcyclist was ejected from their vehicle and landed in the slow lane. Emergency responders determined the rider sustained life-threatening injuries and requested a medical helicopter for transport to a trauma center.
CHP later confirmed that the motorcyclist succumbed to injuries at the hospital. Additional details remain scarce, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
