AURORA, Colo. — A motorcycle rider was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday night at E. Mississippi Avenue and S. Moline Street, according to the Aurora Police Department.
The collision occurred around 8:15 p.m. involving a motorcycle and an SUV. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased. The driver of the SUV remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
While the cause of the crash is under investigation, officials reported that speed and intoxication do not appear to be contributing factors.
Lane closures were implemented as police conduct the investigation.
