Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 77-Year-Old in Winnebago County
WAUTOMA, Wis. (WAUH) — A 77-year-old man from the Town of Poygan died in a motorcycle crash on County Road D Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 2:41 p.m. when the motorcycle was traveling west on County Road D and lost control while attempting to turn onto Town Hall Road. According to authorities, the motorcycle overturned and came to rest on top of the operator, who was found unresponsive at the scene.
Emergency responders included the Winneconne Police Department, Winneconne/Poygan First Responders and Fire Department, and the Berlin Ambulance Service. The Winnebago County Medical Examiner’s Office also responded to the scene.
