Motorcyclist Killed in Interstate 89 Crash in Berlin, VT
BERLIN, VT — A motorcyclist died after colliding with a guardrail on Interstate 89 South near Exit 6 on June 11, 2026, at 6:41 p.m.
Authorities identified the victim as Journiann Leclair, 26, of Williamstown. Leclair was traveling southbound on a 2022 Harley Davidson Nightster when the accident occurred at mile marker 47.2. She sustained minor front-end damage to the motorcycle.
First responders found Leclair unresponsive; she was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that she was not wearing a helmet.
The Vermont State Police are conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
