Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Semi-Trailer in Harris County
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A motorcyclist died after colliding with a semi-trailer on FM 529 early Sunday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. while the motorcyclist was traveling westbound on FM 529, west of U.S. 290. Authorities said the rider lost control and crashed into the trailer of a semi-trailer, igniting both vehicles in flames.
Emergency personnel pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-trailer was attempting to turn east onto FM 529 at the time of the accident.
An investigation is ongoing, and no charges have been filed at this stage.
