DALE CITY, Va. (7News) — A motorcycle accident early Wednesday morning resulted in the death of a local man in Dale City.
According to Prince William County police, the incident occurred at approximately 2:41 a.m. when 41-year-old Gary Virgil Teman of Woodbridge, Va., crashed his motorcycle into an unoccupied parked vehicle on Dale Boulevard.
Police reported that Teman was riding eastbound and was unable to negotiate a left curve near the intersection of Greenwood Drive, leading him to veer right and rear-end the parked vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities also confirmed that Teman did not have a valid motorcycle endorsement on his driver’s license.
Investigators are seeking additional witnesses to the crash.
