Eastampton Township, NJ – A 22-year-old man from Pemberton Township was killed in a motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck on Powell Road Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m., with emergency responders finding the motorcyclist critically injured at the scene. According to Eastampton Police Sergeant Kevin Ballinger, the rider was thrown from the motorcycle and struck a utility pole. Despite efforts by paramedics, including CPR and defibrillation, he was pronounced dead on site.
Authorities reported that the motorcycle and pickup truck were traveling in opposite directions at the time of the collision. Preliminary investigations revealed no apparent fault, and no charges have been filed. The investigation is ongoing.
The driver of the pickup truck was unharmed. Emergency response teams cleared the scene, and lane closures were implemented during the investigation.
