FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on I-495 on Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 3:52 p.m., Virginia State Police responded to a collision involving a 2005 Suzuki motorcycle and a pickup truck on I-495 North (Outer Loop) past Eisenhower Avenue (Exit 174). Upon arrival, troopers found the motorcyclist on the roadway, with bystanders performing CPR.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities. The victim’s identity remains unconfirmed as police continue their investigation.
The cause of the crash has not been disclosed. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not reported any additional injuries.
