Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on State Route 13 in Vienna, NY
Vienna, NY (July 23, 2026) – A 37-year-old motorcyclist died following a crash on State Route 13 on July 22.
According to New York State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 5:05 p.m. Ryan A. Lyke, of Canastota, was riding a 2022 Harley-Davidson motorcycle northbound when a southbound 2020 Nissan Frontier, driven by 90-year-old Leo G. Seaton of Camden, turned left into the motorcycle’s path.
Lyke was transported to Rome Health, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities confirmed that Seaton was evaluated for impairment, and no impairment was found.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details were released.
